So we HAD the bandwidth we were promised on Wednesday night. Come the morning of Day 1 of official QuakeCon action, BAM! Nothing.
What a hectic mess of a day. But we weren’t alone, the guys over at QuadV and Live On Three were struggling with the staff to acquire internets as well, to no avail.
It wasn’t an issue until we started missing official tourney matches. I felt really bad for Slasher, who just the day before was telling us all about the epic amounts of work he had put into promoting the live stream. Oh well, GG QuakeCon network, you win.
Until… about 9PM, after djWHEAT and friend’s quit and went home, QL.tv got our stream up. We then proceeded to cover random QC QL matches for many, many hours. I was exhausted, so I went to sleep early, but word has it Greased casted until 3AM.
